| | The Challenge | The City of San Francisco cancels the event, citing myriad community and logistical concerns. The event promoters hire Barbary Coast Consulting.
| | Our Work | Focused acutely on working to revive the event, Barbary Coast works with our client to engage in intensive neighborhood outreach, to perform a comprehensive reformulation of the traffic and safety plans, to build an educational program for elected officials, and to form a strong, supportive coalition.
| | The Result | The ski jump is rescheduled, goes off safely and as planned, and results in one of the most entertaining (and publicized!) spectacles in the Bay Area in 2005.
