Alexis is a recent graduate of the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. During her studies, Alexis complemented her public policy training with coursework in political strategy and political psychology. At Chicago, Alexis was named as a McCormick Tribune Urban Leadership Fellow, giving her the opportunity to be coached by Chicago’s elected officials, agency heads, and leaders of private industry.
Alexis’ varied work experience includes staffing a U.S. Senator, working in the high-tech industry, coordinating large grants for nonprofits and universities, public relations, and publication. She recently conquered the mother of all complex political environments while consulting for the Mexican federal government. There, she developed a proposal for a new international center to address government transparency issues in Latin America.
Alexis is a native of the Bay Area and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley. In her spare time she likes to travel, work on sudoku puzzles, and keep up with international affairs.

Living in Indonesia, the goal of the group is to increase its members’ standard of living. They are achieving this through the raising of pigs. Buluh Sari Group’s hope is to raise market quality pigs by using high standard products to feed and care for them.
