Prior to interning at Barbary Coast, Kim participated in and led several fundraising campaigns for Los Angeles' most prestigious nonprofit arts organizations. She is a proud graduate of Occidental College, where she was involved in several student-led groups, including the Environmental Club and the campus radio station.

A Bay Area native who was raised in Germany and Holland, Kim has returned to San Francisco to use her research and communication skills in the field of public policy. She enthusiastically joins Barbary Coast to immerse herself in the city's progressive and pioneering spirit (and to ask Jaime what a policy wonk is).

As a recent transplant to San Francisco, you will find Kim eating at a taqueria, watching the sailboats in the Marina and easing her dependency on her car.
