Skilled at diplomacy, Jaime has taken a lead role in community outreach for several of Barbary Coast's most important clients. His work style personifies tenaciousness and intensity – and he is the first (and thus far, only) Barbary Coaster to be twice promoted – from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager to Director.

Born and raised in San Francisco, he has witnessed first hand the progression of the San Francisco political scene. During his collegiate career at USC (go Trojans!), Jaime worked with an association of Latin American students. He helped provide a bridge between the university and the local community, tutored neighborhood youth, sponsored housing fundraisers, and mentored incarcerated teens, working with them to better their lives.

In his spare time Jaime cycles, runs, and continues his lifelong love affair with the automobile.

Through kiva.org, all Barbary Coast employees make interest-free microloans to people in need around the world.  Jamie’s Kiva partner is Kokou Agbossou-sessou from Lomé, Togo. Caring for four children, Kokou contributes to the family income as a driver. He plans to purchase a new vehicle soon.
