> Lindsey is a dynamic communicator and skilled researcher.
Lindsey joins the Barbary Coast team after immersing herself in San Francisco politics with the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs. She stepped into a variety of roles as a fellow, learning valuable advocacy, communication, and team work skills. She completed seven rewarding job placements with an array of public and private sector organizations. Her most eye-opening placement was with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, where she helped develop framework approaches for water utilities seeking to implement climate change action plans at their agency.
Prior to her work with Coro, Lindsey completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science and Classical Civilization. A proud Bruin, Lindsey was active in a variety of student activities on campus. As part of the new Undergraduate Student Initiated Education Program, Lindsey designed and facilitated a student-led seminar on U.S. Education Policy. She also helped lead organizing efforts for the successful University of California Sudan Divestment Campaign in March of 2006.
In her free time Lindsey likes to practice yoga, get in touch with her crafty side through ceramics, and frequent local movie theaters and art museums.
