Barbary Coast Consulting was hired by Urban Realty Co., Inc., a San Francisco-based developer, to manage community outreach and media relations related to a proposed 250,000 sq/ft retail project for Market Street in San Francisco. The project, known as CityPlace, seeks to bring new value-based retailers to the city’s primary shopping district and to revitalize a long-neglected stretch of the Mid-Market neighborhood. In 2010, Urban Realty received approval from the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors to move the project forward and help establish Mid-Market as a vibrant part of San Francisco.
