Pacific Heights Ski Jump

Barbary Coast was hired to assist a creative team of daredevils as they attempted to produce an audacious urban ski jump in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood. After the City cancelled the ski jump, citing insufficient planning and outreach, Barbary Coast worked to educate neighbors, elected officials and the media, to reformulate and expand the security and transportation plans, and to build a coalition of support. After considering the new plans, the ski jump was rescheduled and became one of the most memorable spectacles in San Francisco’s recent history. |

Project Staff Alex Clemens Jaime Rossi "After concerned neighbors got the City to postpone our Fillmore Street ski jump event, we knew we needed to readjust our strategy. Barbary Coast Consulting showed us the way. They were swift, efficient, and effective. These guys are pros." Jonny Moseley, 1998 Olympic Gold Medalist
