That's Jaime Rossi, Our Partner

A graduate of the Goldman School of Public Policy, Jaime Rossi brings expertise in housing, land use, research, policy analysis, and advocacy to Barbary Coast Consulting. Previously the Manager of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco and the Director of Public Policy for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Jaime was also an elementary school teacher in South Central Los Angeles.

Jaime has extensive experience working with legislators at the federal, state, and local levels. As a public policy consultant, he has worked successfully with political candidates, ballot initiatives, developers, non-profits, schools, and community groups. His collaborative approach brings win-win outcomes for clients and community.

Like many former 4th grade teachers, Jaime has a keen understanding of San Francisco politics. An avid squash player, he also enjoys reading, traveling, and singing karaoke.

Through kiva.org, all Barbary Coast employees make interest-free microloans to people in need around the world. Jaime’s Kiva partner is Alexander Chuvash. Distributing popular food products in Nikolaev, Ukraine, Alexander is working hard to expand his business.
